Seventy percent of them become full-time Financial Representatives. Managing Director Paul Fitzgerald says his group’s interns come from a variety of colleges and universities, including the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Southern Adventist University, Covenant College, Bryan College and Lee University. “Regardless of whether the intern looks at this as a career path, the learning opportunity for the student is tremendous,” says Paul.
June 10, 2010-- Northwestern Mutual is recognizing The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Graduate Student Landon Hutchison for achieving the Target 20 award, which recognizes financial representative interns who performed at an elite level while helping clients achieve their financial security during the year. Hutchison became a full-time Financial Representative with NMFN-Chattanooga after graduating from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with his Master in Business Adminstration in August 2010.
